Homeware Wish List

Homeware Wish List

I have recently accepted that I have an addiction to homeware. I find myself buying things for the house more than I do clothes or makeup. Am I okay?! I don’t know whether it’s because my boyfriend and I have the flat so its making me excited to become a homeowner. Or whether the fact that the idea of fun shopping for me is now homeware. I have Pinterest boards dedicated to my future house and visual boards created on my laptop ready to print to put in a sketchbook. Call me crazy, but interior design is getting me excited. So, of course I thought the perfect post would be a wish list of certain interior items that I’m loving and wanting to own. Of course I’m not going to buy them because frankly where would I put them in my two bed flat haha.

I’m going to kickstart it off with this gorgeous mirror. I don’t know where it’s from, all of my wish list is from my board on Pinterest. However, if you know somewhere that does something similar to this, I’m the girl you need to tell. I love mirrors, I think having something on the wall makes the room look so much bigger and makes the space feel more complete. They also of course help you out when a girl is in need of knowing she looks fine as hell.

I don’t know what it is about plants / flowers that just make everything better and personally for me happier. If I walk in to a room and see plants and flowers decorating the side I get such a good vibe. I don’t know why, as I said at the beginning call me crazy. I guess like mirrors on the wall they fill the space up and make a bland wall look more intriguing. There are definitely some unique ways to display plants that for me could work well with the right atmosphere in a room.

Now I know for a fact you can get these in B&M and I want them, in all different sizes haha. They are super easy to put up as well, I know this for a fact because I did one for my boss at work. They can be used for bedside tables as displayed in the picture, for bookcases and one idea that I don’t know if it would work or not but using it as a shoe holder. You know, the amount of times when you come in from your day and just fling your shoes anywhere. Well, this way you can be organised. YAY.

As always thanks for reading, I hope you have a relaxing Sunday and I’ll see you on Tuesday for my maybelline satin foundation review.

Those are some really wonderful items. When I moved into an apartment with my boyfriend we also became much more addicted with buying home stuff, just to make it look more cozy and ours. We would love to have more plants, so we are constantly looking into where they have some good deals.

You’re not alone I go in shops and imagine all the homeware I’d buy when I get my own place! You’ve got to make it yours somehow!

I love your list, Joan! Oh we have the same thing for mirrors, you’re totally right about that. I spend about 90% looking at myself before I head out, which is crazy. Such a fun post! Xx

My house is legit filled with IKEA Kallax cube units!
They even make up my kitchen.
Those metal plant holders are lush as well, and I have been making a concerted effort to increase the amount of greener in our living space.
Also now considering a mirror for above the fireplace; only mirror we have is in the bathroom so will bring extra light and make sure I check my hair isn’t a mess before I leave for work.
So basically, shamelessly stealing all your ideas 😉

Love classic home decor. I need to get some more statement pieces for our house. As it’s a Cottage, it’s a fine balance as I want to have a classic shabby chic style. Will look in B and M for mirrors – any excuse to visit there.

I really love both of these ideas! I’m a home ware addict too, however since I have to practise a more minimalist and mindful life I have been quite strict on what I bring into my home. That doesnt mean I don’t list over it though! Homeward is just so alluring! Definitely a guilty pleasure! Great post! x

I’m a big lover of homeware even though I don’t own my own house or flat but I love decorating my room, and filling it with homey bits! Love all the items here! I especially like the small mirror on a rope/chain in the last photo I really want one or maybe a few of different sizes!
