Blogging Advice Part Two

Blogging Advice Part Two

Back in September I wrote about a few tips I had learnt about blogging, see my first post here part one Whether this was helpful to who was reading or not, I really enjoyed sharing my advice and it actually made me realise how much blogging has helped me establish new skills. Without mumbling on for too long lets go get in to the post of wisdom.

Self Motivation

This is so important and not always achievable on a daily basis. It is the hardest thing to do for anyone, but you need to back yourself up. You back your family and friends so why is it so hard to do it for yourself. It is though, but you need to learn to love and uplift yourself. Listen to your own advice which is what I tell myself every day. I am the worst at listening to my own advice, but hopefully writing this will make me do it more.

Comparing yourself to others

You could take this in to any context but especially with bloggers. We are constantly scrolling through the perfect reel of peoples lives or what we think is the perfect reel that we lose sight of who they really are. We all are unique and we are all guilty of comparing one another. Instead we should be uplifting and supporting each other.

Write everything down

This will be short and sweet but if anything pops in to your head, whether it be the middle of the night, for gods sake write it down. We all know by morning we will have forgotten it.

Last but not least.

Have a break

There is no wrong in having a break from blogging, Instagram, Twitter or any other social media site that you use. We all need a break once in a while, but you shouldn’t feel guilty for not posting. Time to yourself is key to remember why your doing it in the first place and who your doing it for.

As always thanks for reading and see you on Monday for my first Halloween post of the year!

Great post and some really good tips!! I totally agree with the taking a break! I’ve learnt to take time away if I need to just recharge some batteries and give myself a break and stop putting pressure on myself xx

Great post! A lot of ideas, not necessarily related to blogging, come to me just before I go to sleep and if I don’t write it down there is no way I will remember in the morning.

These are really good tips! Bloggers sometimes need to remember that they need to take a break. It is so easy to constantly keep planning and working! Sometimes even “down time” like scrolling through social media can turn into research and networking. I really enjoyed this post!

These are such simple but important pieces of advice. I agree having a break is so important, blogging can be such a taxing thing to do. x
