What were you doing before blogging and how did you get in to it?
I started blogging about 2 and a half years ago when my dad passed away and I needed a focus point. I haven’t looked back since! I studied photography, art and English at college so all of them relate to blogging and being a makeup artist comes hand in hand with reviewing beauty products.
I’m so sorry to hear about your dad sweet.
Who is your biggest influence?
My biggest influence is Jake Jamie. He isn’t a blogger, more of a beauty influencer through Instagram but he’s so real. After meeting him in person a few months back and seeing how down to earth and just NORMAL he was, it pushed me to grow my own platforms and get bigger and better.
Best advice you’ve ever been given?
If you have a dream, follow it. No dream will ever come true unless you chase it.
What do you do in your spare time?
Normally, I blog! For me it’s not only another job but also a hobby and I love writing new content, taking photos and editing them so I don’t mind spending my spare time doing it. Other times you’ll find me eating out at restaurants – I’m a massive foodie!
Whats your favourite restaurant?
TGI Fridays! Cheese is my favourite food and their mozzarella dippers are to die for!
What is your favourite and least favourite part about blogging?
My favourite thing about blogging is when you write a post and somebody tells you that you’ve helped them or inspired them – that really warms my heart.
My least favourite thing is the writer’s block that I sometimes get! It’s a nightmare to shift at times
Favourite beauty brands?
I’m currently loving Smashbox, MAC and Dior! They’re staple brands of mine
What one product couldn’t you live without?
I couldn’t live without my Bare Minerals Skinlongevity serum! It’s a life changer and I use it religiously. I also couldn’t live without my phone as I have it on me at all times.
Three words to describe you?
Drugstore or high-end gal?
Unfortunately for my poor bank account, I’m definitely a high-end gal!
Best advice to bloggers?
My best advice to bloggers is to STICK WITH IT! Things can be slow for a while but persevere, stay focussed and work hard and it’ll be well worth it. Also, always be engaging! That’s the best way you’ll get growth on your blog.
