Hi lovelies. So today its short and sweet, but I recently got sent this brow pencil from Billion Dollar Brows.
I have to say I had never heard of them but when I read that their brow pencil was for all hair colours I was very intrigued. I normally don’t use brow pencils, I love brow pomades, they are just creamier and easier to apply, but I wanted to try out something new.
The packaging was simple, black which I personally think always looks professional and stylish. One end had the brush and the other was the pencil. I love any brow pencil that comes with a brush, even though I own a brow brush it’s always handy when it comes included.
When looking at the pencil it wasn’t slanted which I actually prefer as although slanted pencils are good for precision I personally find it quite hard to fill in the sparse hairs with a slanted style.
It said on the leaflet that I got that this product was for all hair colours. Light strokes for blonde hair and harder strokes for darker hair. However, when looking at the colour I found that hard to believe as it looked like any brunette brow pencil. Luckily my hair is brunette and so hard strokes it was to gain the look I wanted. However, it was a little dark for me but when using it for the second day I did use lighter strokes and found that worked much better. I was able to build up the colour I wanted. I would say with this product that you can do natural brows to defined brows, but it’s not for every hair colour. I think blondes would find this hard to wear unless they like bold brows. However, brunettes and black-haired people this is for you. It was easy to apply and although I’m not a fan of brow pencils this one did the job.
