Hello, we are in October now which means Halloween posts are coming soon and I’m so excited. I love autumn for all the colours, especially when all the leaves start changing colour. Loving multiple eyeshadow palettes that are being brought back out from the drawers ready to create autumnal looks. So, that kicks us off with today’s post where I’m creating a very easy makeup look ready for Autumn.
Firstly I applied my Makeup Revolution conceal and define concealer on to my eyelid, but of course you can use whatever concealer you want just this was the one that I’m loving at the moment. I then set it with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.
The palette I was using for this look was the amazing Naked Heat Palette, which I fall in love with more every time I use it. I firstly applied the shade ‘low blow’ in to my crease.
To then add some warmth in to the lower line of my crease and bringing it down on to my lid I used the shade ‘cayenne’ and basically just blended myself through life ahah.
Then to define my outer crease even more I used the shade ‘ashes’ to darken it up. With this I also slightly ran it through the line of my crease where I would normally cut crease just so it added a little depth and shape to my eyelid.
I then made the brave decision of doing a cut crease. AH! I have only tried this out twice before and I am not very good at them. However, practice makes perfect and I want to learn and this time I think it went okay. But I am no makeup artist so don’t judge haha. I went back in with the conceal and define concealer and a little flat brush to curve out those edges. I again set that with the Rimmel stay matte powder. My life saver.
I finally ventured out an Urban Decay eyeshadow palette, which for the life of me I can’t remember what it’s called. My mum bought it for me for Christmas and honestly its the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I mean look at it!
I used the copper shimmery shade (doesn’t have a name sorry) and omg the pigmentation is real people. I wet my brush with my Mac Fix spray and my lord it went on like a dream.
Thats it for today, as always thanks for reading and tune back in on Sunday for my Homeware wishlist.
